Dr. Tin Nguyen is a graduate of the University of Houston, where he initially began his academic path as an engineer. He went on to earn his Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1999. This foundational training continues to shape his clinical work today, as he incorporates his analytical and mathematical skills to approach medical eyecare with exceptional precision.

After 15 years of dedicated service to the community, Dr. Tin merged his practice with iFocus Vision in the Seven Meadows neighborhood. He now focuses his clinical expertise on specialty contact lens fittings, advanced dry eye therapy, and the management of complex clinical cases. He is particularly mission-driven in his approach to Myopia Control, utilizing Medmont topography to design custom night lenses aimed at stopping the myopia epidemic.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Tin is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys playing basketball and golf. He also has a deep-seated passion for global exploration and loves traveling to exotic countries to experience new cultures and landscapes.
